Space-weather research, a low-cost exoskeleton, and now doctoral research in rehabilitation robotics.
Alongside my engineering coursework at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, I spent four years researching how space weather affects technology systems.
In 2012 I presented a poster on the seismological effects of solar activity at the International Symposium on Solar-Terrestrial Physics at IISER Pune, and a paper on an alternative communications model for harsh space weather at an IEEE satellite-telecommunications conference in Rome.
I also built a low-cost exoskeleton for people with disabilities for the ICRC's EnableMakeathon, and, long before any of it, a reflecting telescope with my school team.
That exoskeleton never left me. Today I'm pursuing a PhD in Robotics & AI (GHRCE / RTMNU) on EMG-based control of a knee exoskeleton for physiotherapy. My muscle-synergy analysis found seven synergies that explain 95.9% of the variance in gait muscle activity. Patent applications cover the control process and the hardware system, and papers are in peer review.
